We'll jump at any chance to visit London, and we think the Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s exhibition at the V&A is a perfect excuse. The show relives the bold 1980s through experimental fashion courtesy Vivienne Westwood, Anita Cobin, John Galliano, Betty Jackson and Katharine Hamnett to name but a few. Wild and vibrant outfits were worn by up-and-coming stars of the time, think Adam Ant, Boy George or Leigh Bowery who all helped put London on the map as a risque fashion hotspot. It was a time when culture bibles i-D, Blitz and The Face ruled showcasing the extraordinary fashions seen in London's outrageous club scene. Step back in time with these images of key looks of the time. Image top: Installation view © V&A.
