BEAUTY IN ALL ITS FORMS

Bangkok beckons with news of The Body Project: Beauty, Brutality and the Reasons Behind exhibition at the Museum of Siam. Tracing the history of what typifies beauty in various cultures across the globe, this show promises to stun and amaze with its portrayal of the ways women's bodies have been shaped over the centuries in the name of beauty. We're intrigued, and just a little discombobulated to learn we could pop a twig in our mouth to see how we'd look with a Mursi clay plate in our lip. Can we try Marilyn's hourglass figure?
