Our short New York sojourn has us craving a bigger bite of The Apple. We kicked our days off with coffee at Saturdays Surf NYC priming us for gallery visits to New Museum and our recent favourite show Gutai: Spendid Playground at the Guggenheim. Locarno Verde in Tribeca may be known for their pasta, but we chose a juicy steak so big even two of us couldn't jump over it. We also managed to squeeze in two trips to the all time fave Balthazar brimming with tasty morsels on it both its breakfast and dinner menus. We sampled light-as-a-feather quiche, salad nicoise, a luscious lobster risotto, and the ultimate sampler: freshly shucked oysters sourced from around the states to order. Fly direct!
