The traditional farm house is the focus of a radically new building in the heart of Schijndel’s, a southern Dutch village. Following a tumultuous planning and consultation period, the Glass Farm project by MVRDV bloomed. Using numerous heritage photographs, artist Frank van der Salm created a composite image to be printed directly onto the glass facades. The result is translucent roof that lets light in and out day and night. Via Trendland.
